Great Culture, everyone is very supportive on your team. Product team are amazing and passion about what they do here. Executives are super friendly and helpful! Lots of fun people in this company.
Cons
Scale up just like any other startup. However, everyone is being positive and passion about what we do here.

Great company, great coworkers!
Feb 2, 2023 - Software EngineerRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Company is enjoyable to work for, interesting work and the opportunity to move around to different teams.
Cons
Typical startup cons, can be a lot of hours and work but nothing completely unreasonable. Usually needing to work extra hours is not a sustained expectation.

Pros
- Good people to work with - Good people managers
Cons
Company is hiring too much. I would request people to not join Earnin as the new products are on the border line and may not work. There may be massive layoffs as there has been excessive hiring in the last quarter. There are people with no tasks. The company made the same mistake last time and is repeating because the leadership changed. The new CTO is responsible for this and is hiring internationally so I do not recommend joining earnin even if you the highest offer.

Rock-solid company with a ton of runway
Jul 16, 2022 - Director of Product Marketing in Burlingame, CARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
- Building products that actually matter to customers - Rockstar CMO - Really smart co-workers with zero egos - Executive team genuinely cares and continues to push in the right direction
Cons
We're in an intensely competitive space where speed to market matters, and this is an opportunity for us. We have already made significant changes that will very positively impact this.

Feb 22, 2022 - Senior Technical RecruiterRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
I've been contracting for the past 20 years, and have had numerous offers to go FTE from the top companies and bay area startups. Yet only Earnin has managed to successfully convert me to an FTE and that should tell you everything you need to know. I believe in the mission, direction and vision of the company, plus we have a nice culture and great teams working across the departments.
Cons
None - I really enjoy working here. We may have had a stumbling block a couple of years back (as every company has), but that is firmly behind us as we have now turned the corner, charging down the runway gaining momentum and embracing the future.

Awesome people and culture
Jun 21, 2022 - Anonymous Employee in Palo Alto, CARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
I absolutely love my coworkers. They are dedicated team players who get things done. WLB is good, I rarely work nights or weekends. Tech stack is fairly current and cloud native. We have some exciting products in the pipeline and business is good. There is a sense of camaraderie among engineers that you won’t find at every company.
Cons
It’s a 200 person startup that has suffered the same attrition as any other company recently. There is occasional chaos, and communication between groups could be better. I wish executive leadership communicated not just more often, but outside their thought bubbles. But TBH these are just nits, and every company of this size has similar issues.
