Pros

The only problem is the matching 401k. The executive team has created mistrust amongst all levels in the company

Cons

Where do I start. ..after being sold for the 3rd time in as many needs, employees are leaving in droves. Particularly concerning is the resignations of many upper level employees. The new executive team has created a level for themselves that I sulfates them from the rest of the employees, which created a total loss of communication of company goals The Walgreens acquisition and their subsequent arrangement with a larger competitor has clearly shown that there is no commitment to the company. The executive team does not comment on these press releases. Couple that with the mass exodus of upper-middle management, and it is a clear indication that the company is doomed and will be absorbed by another PBS, probably within a year. The executives claim that they encourage promotion from within, yet there has been no internal promotions above a certain level in years.... The executives have there golden parachutes, but no guarantees of continued employment for anyone else. ..STAY AWAY

Pros

The people who work in the trenches, for the most part, are awesome.

Cons

This place is an implosion waiting to happen. On their third CIO in four years, it's the blind leading the blind. Everything is a meeting, there is no time except after hours to get your work done. Upper IT management is inept, clueless, more concerned with buzzwords than servicing the customers who pay the bills. The people who actually do the work, for the most part, are amazing. But they're not allowed to do their work without navigating the political landmines that exist inside of management. Just skip it. There are other places your talents will be appreciated. This is not one of them.

Pros

Medical and 401k are the only pros....but rumors have been swirling of cutting the 401k so....take it with a grain of salt....

Cons

Everything about Envision is a con. The management is a joke and lazy/dumb people are hired because that is all Envision can find since it's been blacklisted as an outsourcing company now. All NEW work is outsourced to India. There are a ton of Indians in the Twinsburg buildings and offshore.... The pre-existing full time employees get the garbage maintenance work....if they get any work at all! Even when employees ask for work, management is too "busy" to pass out any....so you end up sitting there...reading FaceBook on your phone....since everything under the sun is blocked on the internet.... The turnover rate here is the highest I have ever seen. By that, I mean people leave in waves....people that have been here many many years all because the writing is on the wall and the observant ones can see it and chose not to watch the train wreck that is about to happen and found other jobs.... Once the Walgreens/Rite Aid merger goes thru (or falls thru) Envision will be closed, even the IT Chief said to give it 8 months before the closing. People are also being fired left and right, this goes for VPs of IT, Managers of QA, etc.... nobody is safe here....everyone will eventually be fired. Nobody wants to work here... they do it because they have too.... Do NOT apply here.... recruiters no longer even mention this company to future employees due to the high turnover rate. The Indians are taking over....and if you want to use 1990s technology, be fearful of being fired, work with morons, do other people's jobs and have jean Friday then Envision is the place for you!
