Pros

There are a lot of talented, dedicated employees here, and good resources. AARP is a well-known and mostly trusted brand.

Cons

Upper management is uninspiring and doesn't seem to know what it's doing. Huge resources are often committed to projects that never fulfill expectations. The much-touted One AARP is not happening internally; each big division seems to go its own way. And externally the AARP brand is still a multiplicity of identities, only a few of which really resonate with members.

Pros

I was able to take on multiple responsibilities, like research and volunteer engagement, with consideration of my time and workload from school.

Cons

At times, I felt like my work wasn’t as important or could’ve been done by my supervisors, especially when projects were close to completion, they would be altered but I understand it was for time efficiency.
