Pros

Used to have so many great coworkers people to learn from and be inspired by. Everyone has been outsourced overseas, even after their continued loyalty anywhere from 5 to 25 years were let go due to their jobs being eliminated. No warning of any sort one day you're working the next year unemployed with nothing more than we won't deny your unemployment and will give you a reference letter have a good life.

Cons

Your job will eventually be eliminated and given to someone overseas. Lowest starting rate for hourly employees no account for education or job experience. Even after a year they will not give you more than 20 to 30 cents an hour increase. You may have to wait another 3 to 4 years to get another 20 to 30 cents if your job hasn't been eliminated.

Pros

At the time there was the ability to be remote. That's no longer the case.

Cons

I worked for 5 years in the VISE team where we provided support for Cisco UCS. We were paid abyssmally for what we were doing and raises were pathetic (talking about a company that have me a 'raise' to 19.99 an hour and couldn't even round up a penny) but the perk of being remote most the week was nice. Eventually the company got a new contract so they decided to push Cisco away which ended with our entire team being laid off after we trained our overseas replacements (and in hindsight realizing the company knew of all this at least 6 months before it happened given where our department was moved to as the new contract got moved into the noc) except a handful of people who were the managers favorites getting moved to another department. Such as a person who was in the department for only a year being moved while far more senior and experienced people were laid off. Honestly being laid off was the best thing for me though as I was too comfortable to look elsewhere and I've since moved to a much better paying job that also is giving me much more meaningful skills and I no longer need to deal with a micromanaging upper manager. From what I've been told from people still there the company has gone even further down hill.
