      Pros

      Lots of time on your hands to do training.

      Cons

      For the same reason as above, you don't learn much. Certain people in I.T. nitpick about little things and are difficult to work with. Management plays too much politics and do not accept fault, if it lies with them. Uses employees as scapegoats. You are disposable scum if you are a contractor. Employees are infallible!

      Pros

      Flexible work hours. Great values. Excellent team work.

      Cons

      Corporate services is a bottleneck. Comms, Finance, Grants Admin, Legal, are all super busy, and very bureaucratic in their processes.

      Pros

      Great benefits, including a defined benefit pension plan; focus on work-life balance; non-management employees are genuinely helpful.

      Cons

      And you'd think with the name of the company the organization would be innovative in their management style and approach? Au contraire! Very bureaucratic and lots of backroom discussions happening at the top, especially between the CEO and HR.
