Pros

Compensation is probably the only good reason to be quoted.

Cons

Atmosphere at the BA office leaves much to be desired, at all levels. Employees are stressed out, working insane hours on a regular basis. Stress even reflects on corporate staff. A few weeks ago there was a rather uncomfortable incident involving a member of management and the cleaning lady, who was harshly reprimanded in the middle of the open space. Personal life/ work balance is nonexistant, and despite raising these issues with members of local and global management, no improvement is seen, which makes no sense when retaining talent is said to be a priority.

Cons

- Long hours / heavy travel depending on the type of project (consistent with most consulting firms)

Pros

- Compensation is good - Higher fees typically mean you're doing more high level work (i.e., not long boring implementations) - In P&T you don't have to live near an office, just near an airport - For the most part, weekends are respected - For the most part, everyone at the firm is smart and hardworking, the few exceptions typically get weeded out eventually

Cons

- High degree of variability in travel, weekend work, etc. across the firm - you need to find the good managers to work for - Like all consulting, when work gets busy your personal life is expected to take a back seat
