Pros

AGS for me is the best RPO/MSP company that REALLY sticks with the WORK/LIFE BALANCE culture. Directors/Managers are friendly and action-oriented, they really care about their people. We are still on a Hybrid setup (2 days RTO and 3 WFH.... sometimes we go 1 day RTO) hope we adapt to the WFH setup for 5 days or at least maximum of 1 day RTO.

Cons

Salary is mid even if you're a senior level recruiter. For the past 3 years I have been with AGS, haven't experience salary alignment (w/c they should do pls pls pls)

Pros

Weekly Pay High compensation $60k to start Remote if under 30 miles from their hub Autonomy

Cons

There is little to no room for growth. When they do post an internal position to be promoted to, the manager's have usually already identified someone on their team they will be moving up

Pros

The tremendous internal partners I worked with and those I had the pleasure to lead. True team spirit and a "we have your back" mentality within my team. Also, their technology strategy for evolving to meet the demands of the changing market are exciting.

Cons

Constant reorgs and leadership changes. I reported to 8 different leaders in 8 years. There is a definite ceiling for leaders and contributors in the shared services space that support and deliver solutions for the operations teams. Allegis Group is privately held, and advancement and strong comp are reserved only for those functions deemed to drive revenue (producer roles). I personally experienced this within AGS. There is very limited advancement opportunity outside of program operations. Once you hit Sr. Manager level, there are prescribed guardrails in place from parent company to not promote beyond Sr. Manager because it triggers enhanced LTIP opportunities. This stifles growth and leads to stagnation within its mid to mid-high management levels.
