Pros
If you like overtime, you'll get plenty of it here. Benefits are great, but pay is mediocre at best. Like any workplace, there's good and bad people working there. Most of the people I worked with were great coworkers.
Cons
As you're filling out your hire in paperwork, you might as well fill out your divorce papers while you're at it. You're married to the job now. It was rare for those of us on second shift to work less than seventy hours in five days. This was not considered above and beyond, it was a normal work expectation. Working most Saturdays was also mandatory, even though you don't get told to work it until Friday afternoon. Time off requests regularly get denied or ignored. And don't you dare have a family emergency, Alro is the only family you need. A couple of the supervisors were great, but management above that level will treat you like trained monkey slaves.
