Pros

Co-workers are supportive and friendly and the role was what was originally described to me.

Cons

Where do I begin? Little to no flexibility in your hours; no room for advancement; and the pay is below, way below, market rates.

Pros

Paychex actually cares about the people that work for them. I have worked for big company's before and they mostly care about money. AmCheck is a company that gets it. They know that if we are happy then we work hard because we are proud of our work. They have always been then for me and my family.

Cons

I have gained too much weight because they are buying us lunch and getting snacks and I have not been able to burn them off LOL.

Pros

challenging environment - makes you grow. very high expectations. very client focused, employees truly care about their clients. very professional organization. focus on health and trying to help employees in their personal lives and work life balance. lots of small perks like rewards, bring your dog in, half days. hard working people. understanding company if you have personal life come up. certain personalities work best here- typically submissive and friendly people who want to show up , do their job, and not grow much into higher level positions.

Cons

inconsistent treatment of employees, limiting view on how business should be run, although i grew a lot i felt like my personality and creativity was limited, felt like i was being groomed more so than being developed. fear made decisions more than logic. not in touch with needs of company and undervalued certain employees while hanging onto employees that harmed the organization. glorification of being busy. not a diverse company. mainly women- men hold leadership positions. strong woman struggle. teamwork between departments needs to improve.
