Pros
The management is diligent and competent. They watch the bottom line closely. The company is viable and thriving. The compensation is on par with the norm.
Cons
The compensation and benefit on par with the norm but the company has a great tendency to match downwards rather than upwards. There used to be unlimited carry over of vacation. It is now gone because other companies have vacation carry over caps. There used to be severance package. It is now also gone because other companies uses government unemployment program. You can only get your 2week/per year severance only if you stay unemployed long enough to get it. You find your next job and the payment is gone.
