Flat organizational structure - don't expect to rise ranks easily here.
Waterfall development methodology, projects are rarely Agile.
HR is a 5-6 person show, informal, sometimes takes days to respond and does not feel like they'd advocate for you.
Sweatshop work environment. Expect to work 1-3 hours past the normal workday.
Service focused, most projects have scope creep.
Lack of company culture. This company was great for the original maybe 500 employees, but now that its a midsize to large business, there's really no culture embraced here. The company has done a terrible job involving the new hires during the lockdown and even veteran new hires who bring 4+ years of experience.
Next to no-African American diversity at the company. It's quite unbelievable given how big this company has gotten.
