Pros
- attractive modern office - informal setting - opportunities for fast career growth - home office 50% time with possibility to do more after agreement with line manager
Cons
- senior management has no idea what teams do, they are often completely detached from reality - poor vacancy management - there is little effort to find replacements after people leave for maternity leave or resign, often just dividing tasks among other team members until they start leaving too being burned out from all the unpaid overtime - Also due to high turnover or frequent role change there is a lack of ownership of projects resulting in chaos and disorganisation - focus is on achieving yearly targets so people can get their bonus instead of thinking long-term - Poor budget management - little willingness to change from the management - Salaries not updated for years, despite inflation the only way to get a higher salary is through merit which is based on incredibly inhuman performance evaluation and not transparent at all. No yearly reviews of salaries. - benefits package is underwhelming and not attractive with exception of pension contribution - diversity and inclusion only on paper, little willingness to actually make any accommodations or go beyond what the law requires - poor work/life balance, no paid overtime - no sick days pay - getting 40% pay cut if you get sick
