Pros
Ample mobility and opportunity to work different types of jobs. A new employee can easily learn all about how the plant runs from other salaried employees, or from more "front line" experience.
Cons
Company does not hire enough people to adequately fill roles. Working with the union is a challenge at best and an unessesary roadblock at worst.
