Pros

Fun company events a regular thing, cafeteria room provides breakfast & lunch for purchase, espresso machines in all 3 breakrooms, a mother's room, plenty of parking and easy to commute to.

Cons

Beware of Smoke and Mirrors. When I first joined Ariat, I was beyond excited to be joining this company as I had my eye on it for a while. The interview process was good, first a phone interview and then an in-person group interview with directors & VP's. I was welcomed in and fell absolutely in love with everything about the company with all it's work perks (which are now all gone due to Covid) and my work. As a growing company they were constantly celebrating winnings. However, it wasn't long after that the smoke began to clear and truths began to be revealed. Senior management as well as some Director level managers were extremely toxic and seemed to have an extremely high turnover from direct reports. The Apparel team leaders are well known as being some of the absolute worst. They have driven several former employees to absolute depression and even mental breakdown. Even after HR hiring a "coach" for the one of the VP's, nothing has changed. Our CEO is truly one of the kindest people I've ever worked with and yet she has purposefully been made oblivious to the recurring issues of the apparel dept.'s senior and director level management. There is no privacy with HR. If you make a complaint to them about your manager, they will tell them. In my time there, 16 people (in the apparel dept. alone) have left due mental breakdowns from the toxic and bullying managers or were mysteriously let go by one of the same managers. This doesn't even include footwear, marketing, IT or any other department. By the time I left, I was disheartened and jaded. I went from loving my job to having anxiety every day about whether or not I'd have a job the next day, even though I worked well over the hours I was paid for. And that's the worst part, there is no family life / work life balance. managers expect working parents to prioritize their work duties over family, even through Covid. Several people complained about the lack of balance, but nothing was done.

Cons

New Store Management is toxic. They used to care about the workplace environment but it now no one looks forward to coming to work. Management belittles the employees and doesn’t show any appreciation. Everyone is looking for other employment
