Pros
Ok place to start your career in IT Security/Networking before moving onto something better. The industry is a good one to be in currently. Fast progression is possible due to the current "brain drain" in the NetSec BU. You may go far if you are a brown noser / lickspittle.
Cons
Currently cost cutting / consolidating so trying to cover vendors / accounts with less resource. Do not pay the market rate - lots of good people lost to other parts of the channel and competitors over the last few years = short sighted! Weak management – lots of office politics, cronyism and a "school playground" mentality. Current Calibre of staff is so poor on the whole- Ex-Computerlinks quality is long gone even though ex Computerlinks management largely intact. The running joke when I was there was that the cleaner will be out visiting partners next week. Off-shoring more functions to eastern Europe will alienate even more customers.
