Pros

- Good Salary and commission (when / if you get it) - HR is helpful

Cons

- Sales people have risk of being 'let go' before receiving commissions on deals closed because of "budgeting" reasons/its cheaper for Atento, despite the enormous moral/ethical hazard - They do not care about doing good work or even doing the right thing at times, and it shows to the employees and clients in the quality of work delivered, and to the stakeholders in the public balance sheets - Leadership is rarely in office, or at desk, and does not attend any scheduled meetings - No yearly/quarterly review or care for your personal career advancement - The organization is extremely unorganized and leadership switches constantly (I had 3 bosses in 2 years) - The company is in a horrible financial situation where they just had to re-leverage their debt, and even their longest client, from whom they actually broke off of to start the business, might not re-sign with them after contract ends in 2025. Atento stock is down 90%+ in the past year - No career mobility or growth opportunities in a dying sector

Pros

There are no meaningful pros to highlight. The work environment lacks growth opportunities, support, and stability, and employees are frequently placed on PIPs without proper guidance or development. The experience may clarify what you do not want in a future workplace, but beyond that, there are no real advantages to note.

Cons

• There are no real opportunities for growth, as development and advancement are not supported or encouraged. • Employees are frequently placed on PIPs with little to no guidance, often used as a fast track to push people out rather than help them improve. • Management provides minimal support, inconsistent direction, and very limited communication, leaving teams without clarity or leadership. • The company prioritizes serving major clients like TikTok while providing little support or investment in its own employees, creating a clear imbalance in priorities. • Internal teams often feel overlooked, and leadership focuses more on external deliverables than on employee well‑being or success. • The work environment is so toxic and unstable that employees struggle to properly perform their jobs due to constant pressure, unclear expectations, and lack of support. • QA, leadership, and SMEs lack alignment and accountability, causing repeated issues and preventing meaningful improvement. • Feedback is rarely constructive, and decisions are made without transparency or employee involvement. • The culture encourages fear, self‑protection, and high stress, rather than collaboration, trust, or long‑term stability. • High turnover and ongoing organizational issues make it difficult to feel secure, supported, or valued in your role.
