      Pros

      Pay on the lower end of average but livable. Very caring staff and coworkers. Buildings are newer or being remodeled.

      Cons

      Leadership changes the "truth" based on their audience. CEO uses religion to keep his flock in line but everyone knows that he can't be trusted. Avera expects all employees to be loyal but offers no loyalty in return.

      Pros

      It's an option of you choose to work for a Christian organization. It's expected of employees to treat patients with dignity and respect.

      Cons

      Employees do not get the same courtesy of dignity and respect as patients do. New to EPIC. Went live at midnight. Chose the most minimal transition option. Training was minimal and now the expectation is to function with i a system that has not even tested in practice. Upper management does not take the effect of line staff into consideration.
