Pros
This will be the company at which I retire. Great pay, great benefits, smart people, challenging work, and an always-changing industry. Avista has its own credit union, in-house lunch provider, and health clinic.
Cons
Those close to retirement can become incredibly lazy. In addition, we can be so siloed that decisions are made in one department that strongly negatively affect another, and it's not realized until it's too late to change the decision.
