Pros
I've been truly enjoying working at AwardSpring as a contract software developer. As a long-term developer, team-lead and architect, I've worked at many jobs and this has been my favorite. I have flexibility to wok from home. The people are all really great. My boss is understanding, helpful and really seems to care about employees, the work environment, improving the team and process. The work is exciting- working with Azure and .Net on a SaaS product, we use an Agile process and hours are reasonable. I also love the location in the city near the Sears Tower.
Cons
As a small company, I don't have a very big development team to work with and bounce ideas off of. However, everyone that does work on the product is very knowledgeable and helpful with answering my questions.
