Pros

If you're looking for an organization that truly does have a mission and values that mean something - Axon is the place for you! I've seen other places that refer to values, but in reality it's posted on a doc here and there and that's it! At Axon they (values) really do drive all decisions that they make and the ultimate goal to protect life is something felt by all at any level. The ability to collaborate as a team even working remotely is there and the level of transparency that the company offers was refreshing. Being in the industry that we are can be charged and hard to navigate and I appreciate the open dialogue the company has with it's employees. It helps us all to understand business decisions no matter the level and to get any questions addressed in a safe and open forum. My team feel like friends I've known far longer than I've been employed here and that is special too.

Cons

The hiring process was not the best experience - the timing and speed to interview was great but the alignment in the role I had applied to and what was essentially offered were not the same. The mission, culture and team is what kept me moving forward in accepting my offer. In being here I've seen that your true function of your role is great and all... but they do look for "bar raisers" and people that go above and beyond to get recognition at times. That can often lead to feeling overwhelmed and burnout. The pace in people operations does not always feel sustainable and seems like more headcount is needed in certain areas to keep with the demands of the business and overall company growth.

Pros

Good pay and benefits Flexible PTO RSU's

Cons

Company morale is low. The other recent reviews stating this are extremely accurate. Company culture has eroded and the company values don't seem to matter anymore. 'Winning Right' has become lip service. Senior leadership refuses to address the problems many departments are having with headcount and workload. They don't really care about the customer experience. RTO makes no sense when most of your team remains remote in the same role, a role in which you spend much of the time on calls with customers and meeting with other team members virtually. Not enough staff to support the RMS customer base and ticket counts have ballooned.
