      Pros

      Good medical, retirement and other benefits. Training programs. School reimbursement plans. Company pays for CPA prep courses. However The cons at this office location far outweigh the pros

      Cons

      Untrustworthy managers and partners. A lot of back biting between managers, seniors, and associates. Culture at that office focuses more on billable hours and not the well being of its non-managerial employees. Overall company advertises a work life balance for all employees but this ultimately depends on the partners willingness to implement . High turnover. Many employees in this office miss work due to illness. Better work hours with a Big 4.

      Strong team culture and they offered great flexibility throughout the internship.

      There actually are great people, but you play manager roulette.

      Cons

      BDO is notorious for promoting people who just never leave. The middle of the road, not great, not awful, people get promoted over and over again. There have been changes every 3 seconds since the ESOP. Terrible communication around change (non-existent). My manager's favorite term was "We are building the plane as we fly it". After 4 years, I was hoping to have more plane built. It was never built.
