    Doesn't Recommend
    Positive Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

I worked at Belk full-time for less than a year

    Pros

The discount was great as well as the flexibility of somewhat choosing your own hours.

    Cons

Weird holiday hours, NO commission/shortened hours after Christmas holiday, and TOO MUCH pressure to sell Belk credit.

    Advice to Management

Schedule accordingly. There is no reason why 4 people should be working in one department on a slow day. There is absolutely a way to accommodate employees and their hours; just schedule wisely. And find new ways to encourage employees to sell Belk credit. Repeatedly asking them how many people they've asked and how many people they've signed throughout the day is no way to encourage employees.
