Deplorable work conditions, long hours and solo shifts in dangerous areas, area team are negligent to the point where it feels like they're breaking some laws. You'll have one or two decent customers among your hundreds or thousands, and the rest are money grabbing penny pinchers who simultaneously treat you as if you're brain dead whilst also expecting you to know every single price for every sport, race and future competition going on the spot. Not to mention the gambling industry itself is the most immoral industry I've ever worked with, career progression past shop manager (at most a £2 an hour raise over basic) is next to impossible unless you're personal friends with the area team.
