Pros

You'll meet creative, fun co-workers. Snacks? Irrelevant during COVID.

Cons

So, see the headline... This is an agency that is sadly, devolving. Unfortunately, they will resort to saying anything to a client in order to close a sale. Meeting with the account or management team at Beyond would lead you to believe that they can do anything. UX? Done. Content? Yep. Strategy? Of course. Data analysis? Back of hand. Magic? Look! We all made wands! Behind the scenes it's a skeleton crew of overworked, un-empowered, unappreciated, underpaid creatives and product people who work double, play multiple roles, and/or fake it till they make it in order to make the company a buck and to keep themselves employed. Don't be fooled by the grandiose company vision in the interview or, if you decide to join, the company meetings. They have no idea what they want to be as a company this year just as they didn't know last year or the year before. The vision will change drastically and you might find yourself convinced that this time it'll be different, this time it'll change. It won't. It will not. Oh! If you're a creative, be prepared to be laid off. When it's trimming time you're on the chopping block, not management. But, rest assured that your fellow employees will let you know if you're on the list. Management typically has zero idea that their firing info has been leaked by... other management people... so you'll at least get a few days notice before it happens.

Pros

The location is rather accessible. Walk, bike, taxi, or public transportation it'll take you here. Great coffee and plenty of beer nearby to drown away the problems of working here.

Cons

Oh man were to start. If you've read any of the other reviews for this place you'll see how dreadfully awful it is to work here and the type of day in and day out nonsense you'll have to deal with. Huge egos that get in the way of progress and good products run rampant amongst leadership globally. There's a clear delineation between who's the workers and who the ones are that are taking credit for the work. Lot's of people in power here who have no respect for their team members, will lie to them and try to manipulate them behind their backs. If you're anything but a white male you'll be talked down to and belittled on the daily here. A lot of these issues are allowed to keep going on because you have an HR department that only perpetuates these issues and blocks anything from being done about these issues. It's a real shame because I've seen this company go from group of people that loved doing great work together into something entirely different. Please save yourself the stress and just don't work here.
