Things used to be different here. Before the current CTO arrived, we had a great team and strong leadership with our former CTO and former and current India lead. Now, it feels like the company is going downhill.
The current CTO favors new hires, giving them higher salaries and more opportunities, while ignoring the contributions of long-time employees. This creates a lot of resentment and demotivates everyone. His autocratic style, and poor decision-making and incorrect technology choices is dragging company down drastically. The CTO doesn't have a clear product vision for where we're going, and his technical decisions are often questionable, as he has zero technical understanding and depth. A Big question mark on how come management can choose him as a CTO ??? He is truly a Chief Technical Manager than Chief Technology Officer really.
Company is wasting time and resources on projects that are going nowhere. It's frustrating to see that nothing meaningful has been delivered in over a year, despite huge investments in new hires and contractors. and surprising no one seems to be questioning on the outcome to the CTO. Costs are probably skyrocketing, and everyone on the ground can see that the company is heading in the wrong direction, however the CEO and board seem to be blind to the problems caused by the CTO's poor leadership and it's clear that they are out of touch with ground reality, and it's worrying for the future of the company.
