Pros

Discount on over-priced clothing (all men's clothing, so if you are a woman, this is not a pro) Office location is in Flatiron district, which is trendy. Values of inclusion and intellectual honesty are refreshing (on paper)

Cons

In October 2019, many talented employees were fired without warning, including several talented women who were making a difference. The firings were similar to what happened at WeWork, but on a smaller scale so it did not make headlines, but just as shocking. Rationale from management to those of us left behind was so the company could become profitable. Profits > People. So instead of figuring out how to make the business model work, they took the easy way out and fired a bunch of talented people, who are missed, while they protected their own bonuses. Exactly what WeWork did. Not true to its core values as other reviewers have said. Not clear on what it wants to be, lacks any semblance of vision for the brand. Bonobos would prefer to bury their heads in the sand and do the same things other retailers do, which makes sense because most of Bonobos leaders came from other brick and mortar retailers. Under-qualified or unqualified "leaders", many of whom have no real expertise yet are often the loudest in the room. In other words, internal favoritism and tenure protects dead wood and average performers. Does not value innovation.

Pros

Lovely culture. Community is important here and your voice is heard. Potential to meet many incredible clients to friends. A lenient environment that'll carry many laughs and friends to make while wanting to help you grow as a salesperson.

Cons

Hours are a consistent 10-7 everyday but Sunday. Very statistic focused based on last year, month, year gross and conversion.

Pros

- Mostly a chill job depending on your manager - Pay is better than most retail jobs with monthly bonuses

Cons

- A lot is riding on how good of a seller you are. Otherwise your store will struggle because the model is so different from traditional retail - You will give them your all just for them to promote someone external because they liked their personality better but they know nothing about the company If you just want to come to work to sell, and you have no bills or goals--you will do great. But don't expect any promotions or rewards for your hard work
