Pros
Benefits and pay. Brocade pays a little above average and the benefits are very good with an additional 40 hours available for volunteer time in the community. There is a gym available onsite. Very good working relationship with development. Brocade hasn't missed a bonus as long as I have been here but that is not a given. there is decent work-life balance.
Cons
Career dead end. Most people have been here (Broomfield Campus anyway) for many, many years in their respective roles which is a double edged sword in the sense that people are happy here but there is no movement. Managers don't seem to have the time or interest to foster career plans for team members. Other than the bi-annual performance review I have had to initiate all manager one-on-one conversations about career growth.
