Pros

Great benefits, ample vacation time, low-cost health insurance.

Cons

Not equipped with proper HR management. HR will not assist employees but rather guard management. The company does NOT value hard working employees and has no appreciation for the help others give to different departments. If they would take the Sesame Street blinders off, they would clearly see who the hard-working employees are and root out the waste. Pros

Buehler offers incredible technical challenges and fosters a positive, growth-oriented culture. One of the best aspects of Buehler is its inclusive and collaborative culture. There’s a strong emphasis on teamwork and open communication, where ideas are encouraged. In terms of career development, I have always felt that I have the opportunity to grow. Illinois Tool Works (ITW) has a robust framework for professional growth that is tailored to the individual. Overall, Buehler has been a fantastic place to work, grow, and innovate as an engineer. The combination of a great culture, supportive leadership, and endless opportunities for development makes this company enjoyable.

Cons

While Buehler offers a decent salary, the pay is not on par with some of the leading companies in the industry. While there are annual pay increases, they tend to be modest. If you prioritize salary as a primary factor in your career decision-making, this may be a limitation to consider.

Pros

Good knowledge colleagues that take pride in their work.

Cons

Self serving leadership that undermines the company and ITW. Compensation is on the low end. Not the lowest but not great. Communication is poor. Needs of customers are an afterthought. Opportunities for advancement, training and career development are limited.
