Pros
- Good work/life balance - Good pension (HOOPP) - Currently only 2 days/week onsite (role dependent) - Department colleagues and environment is good
Cons
- No merit increases since 2020 and consistent delays to cost of living raises since then as well - No off cycle raises or ways to reward high performance - Generally feel like non-union/middle management gets the short end of the stick and deprioritized over union negotiations - Limited growth/promotion opportunities - Onboarding, IT, occ health are frustrating - have to email many times for basic things - Performative culture
