Cons
Lower salaries than all other health care providers in the area. Constantly changing benefits. Poor retention rate, with a marked increase in higher paid agency staff. Christus prefers to hire new graduates because of lower salary requirements. Has had to sell of a number of free standing day surgery centers due to competition and poor performance.
