      Pros

      Outstanding benefits, including great matching 401K, bonus program, vacation incentive, and competitive salary.

      Cons

      Working in a refinery is not glamorous. Having no life outside of work during turnarounds (plant shutdowns). An employee development and review process that is not taken seriously and rewards favorites. Management style has become very dictatorial from the top management and has stifled employee creativity.

      Great people! I've been lucky to be work on a team that values collaboration and openly invites new ideas!

      Cons

      Work can be slow to get done and there's not a lot of drive to excel and compete to be the best in the industry.
