Pros
Honestly my 8 month stint at Coalition was a fairly positive one as I came to realize I was fairly insulated from what I see as the root of the issue at coalition: the CEO. I really enjoyed most of my co-workers and even continue to work with some of them (who have all left). I also enjoyed the clients, as I got to work directly with them. Benefits were ok and there were free lunches on Fridays and snacks in the office. I came away with a few good projects for my portfolio and some really great relationships (again all with people who also left the company) and I learned a lot about where I do and don't want to work and better recognizing unhealthy environments.
Cons
Like I said I was insulated from a lot of what was happening. I saw questionable things happening in the background that became more and more frequent, and I'm so glad I got out when I did. Though my leaving was because I got another job offer - there were MANY people leaving just before and after me. I believe there was great potential at Coalition, but the person steering the ship didn't have the values that lead to a happy work-place and happy clients and ultimately success. Money and accomplishments mattered more to the CEO than people including clients, co-workers and even those closest to him. I saw this played out in many different ways and continued to hear stories after I left. He has no problem with deceit and lying. I'm sure he sees himself as driven, but that is not someone I want to tie myself to, and doesn't create a safe environment. As other reviewers said: read all the comments. See the themes repeated. I have NO doubt that many of those reviews were commissioned by the CEO.
