Pros
Made intangible break throughs on my own (learning fundamentals of bring a project manager in a high pressure situation). Learned things in other softwares that can be applied elsewhere. Given a healthy opportunity to learn what needed to be learned I was able to assimilate project relevant softwares. Lots of good people in other divisions other than my own.
Cons
Very divisive working situation. Not allowed to work more with other specialists as much as I wanted to. People of a certain culture and mindset became much more restrictive. Could not get them to realize that they were being equally unprofessional. Did not work with current softwares as much as I needed to.
