Pros

Definitely work life balance. Not sure how other departments are managed, but I feel my manager doesn't need to micromanage what I do or when I do things. Being able to feel trusted to complete tasks.

Cons

More communication transparency. I feel sometimes things are not communicated well, like finding out about news from someone else and not management. After finding out about whatever it is/was, I expect to get a company-wide email to update everyone, but that doesn't seem to happen as much anymore. This makes me feel less connected or not as important. Maybe there are some that do not care as much what's going on behind the scenes or don't like receiving "extra" emails, but I like to know what's happening around all aspects of the company, whether it's relevant to my position or not.

Pros

Overall a positive environment. I value the independence, management allowing me to do my job. Team members who really care about each other and work together to achieve a shared purpose/goal.

Cons

Have agendas for meetings, that way staff knows what is going to be discussed, less time guessing what will be discussed. Reduce the email noise. Take the time to create concise emails. Read colleagues emails... we have so much information coming in, sometimes we do not read emails.
