Pros

Strong corporate ethics policy; Encouragement to pursue training relevant to your position; Disconnected management means I can do whatever I want during the day, and no one cares.

Cons

Archaic IT Policies; Constant hiring freezes without replacing those who have left; Consistently benchmarks against competition, rather than attempting to lead the market; Little to no effort to fix product issues; Completely ignores the results of annual surveys, when employees are crying out for help; Blames "Tough financial times" for all of the above, but makes no effort to take the opportunity to reinvent and innovate to differentiate themselves in the market.

Pros

The people, the salary, Christmas vacation

Cons

Benefits are terrible, toxic leadership is prolific, chances for advancement are limited, micromanagement is normal, evolution and change are nonexistent, commitment to diversity and inclusion are superficial at best, the CEO draw a compensation of tens of millions of dollars per year while laying people off, the CHRO is one of the most toxic people leaders I have ever come across.
