Pros

Highest pay in SF/Marin for massage service, with big tips.

Cons

Awful health insurance plan, minimum wage pay for PTO, unsupportive and rude management that holds zero accountability for low morale, managers make fun of each other to staff, ridicules therapists when injured, subjects therapists to inappropriate clients, HR is ineffective, overwork therapists to the point of injury and use “business demands call for it” as an excuse, which is unethical and hypocritical from a “healing”arts center.

Pros

Top in industry pay, world class co-workers, management, front desk, and locker attendants. The venue is so aesthetic and serene that it disarms clients that would normally bring their anxiety into the venue. The massage rooms are spacious and the oils worked with are excellent. I've never experienced friendlier and more helpful co-workers. The massage leads and management were always highly available and helpful. Each of them provided their best advice and guidance from their decades in the industry.

Cons

With top in industry pay the price for the massages are also high. Therefore, clients come in with a reasonable expectation to receive impactful body work. This is a con that's also a pro. Random supplies experience minor shortages from time to time. I'm certain that it's less of a Spa issue and more of a laundry logistics and coordination issue. The Spa could develop larger pars for backstock, but even then replenishment would still create the bottlenecks (hence why it's not really an issue of the Spa itself).
