Pros

I've held multiple positions while at Celerion. Starting as a variable floor associate, then a benefited position, and lastly working upstairs. great co-workers - the relationships are what make it bearable, I've formed some great friendships while at Celerion, although there is a division between Clinic floor staff and upstairs staff (ie training, CCS etc) The opportunity for advancement is there but you have to seek them out and sometimes management does play favorites My manager was one of the best, he always looked out for us as individuals and as a team

Cons

- crazy hours, even though I no longer worked on the floor, I was still working 20+ in overtime every week, not a good work-life balance -working as a variable floor associate sucks, and I agree the hours (lack of) during the slow times can be difficult, at one time I had to get a second job -work expectations were a bit high for the amount of work and responsibility for the position I held with the pay and benefits I received, especially after learning that our sister site in Phoenix pays their CCS team the same and they don't have to do half of what we do. -additionally I was expected to fulfill all my responsibilities and duties while adhering to a no overtime restriction during slow weeks which is nearly impossible. Regarding the no overtime restriction - I understand the the big bosses upstairs only see the number of participants in-house; no participants, no overtime but that's nearly impossible to do when your job requires you to prep and get ready for studies weeks and months in advance

Pros

Serves as a decent place to get baseline industry experience on your resume before moving elsewhere. The direct team leads and peer-level colleagues are understanding and pleasant to work with.

Cons

Client-facing demands combined with aggressive study timelines often lead to heavy workloads and long hours.Resourcing can be tight, meaning PMs frequently have to act as both strategic leaders and administrative coordinators. Quarterly updates are disconnected always touting quarter after quarter/ year after year revenue records while running their staff into burnout with the mentality of less is more or better yet "scalability"
