Pros

Makes any other job you take in your life seem unbelievably great compared to Center Point. So if you are unhappy at your job, go work for Center Point for two weeks and you will love your former job more than ever before. Helps you adapt to dealing with constant criticism/ yelling while never getting encouragement or even a thank you.

Cons

They are so mean and disrespectful to employees that they have a room called THE CRYING ROOM for people to go to after they get yelled at. They know they are mean but feel its the best way to motivate staff. FEAR BASED ORGANIZATION. Oppressive atmosphere where they use constant threats to try to “motivate” employee. Every day, 2-3 staff are threatened with “being fired”, often for things that are out of their control! Literally do not care about employees. No orientation or training provided. They fail to guide you on what you are supposed to do and then YELL at you whenever you do now know something. No accountability. I have never seen a place more critical than I did at Center Point. EMPLOYEES ARE TREATED like they are CONVICTED CRIMINALS! I would say that management forgets that employees are human beings and treats them like slaves. NEVER ONCE HEARD A SINGLE SUPERVISOR EVEN SAY THANK YOU. The executive team sucks up to Dr. Taylor (CEO) and she is the tyrant in charge. Everybody is scared of Dr. Taylor. You shall not speak to Dr. Taylor. WORST BENEFITS OF ANY ORGANIZATION I have been a a part of. Also, they trick you into thinking you have paid time off, when in reality they have a secret way to prevent you from getting paid time off. Its borderline illegal but since they HAVE NO REAL HR DEPARTMENT, nobody does anything about it. Also you get only TWO sick days a year, which is ILLEGAL. They appeal every workers compensation case because even when the employee is hurt on the job, Center Point does everything they can to ensure they do not have to pay workers compensation. None of the managers are organized and they blame their disorganization on others in the organization. They only focus on what employees are doing wrong and NEVER GIVE POSITIVE FEEDBACK OR RECOGNITION. Their method of training is based on idea of bullying employees into doing work correctly since they fail to understand how to effectively train employees.

Working at Center Point, Inc. will undoubtedly put a serious black mark on your resume. The organization has a notorious reputation within the industry for significant issues surrounding ethics, compliance, and even fraud (search Google). The environment can best be described as a cult of personality, entirely centered around the President of the Board, who has ruled the company with an iron fist for five decades and shows no signs of stepping down. Creativity, autonomy, and adherence to modern business practices are systematically crushed. Managers and executives rarely last beyond the point when they uncover the harsh realities behind the façade of promises made during recruitment. The company prioritizes profit above people, consistently enriching a select few executives at the direct expense of ethical and compliant operations. Do yourself a favor—avoid the agony, stress, and professional damage by seeking employment with a reputable organization that genuinely values your contributions and upholds strong ethical standards. Center Point, Inc. will not provide you with either.
