Pros
Plenty of residents to see and flexibility for the volunteer. You only take the jobs you can manage. There is a wide variety of cases from a caregiver that might need respite and wants to leave their house for a few hours while you sit with their loved one, to keeping some of the patients company. It's very rewarding to help these people.
Cons
I can't speak to the cons because I wasn't as involved as some of the other volunteers might have been. But for me, everything ran smoothly.
