    Pros

Great organization making a lot of changes for the future. Big focus on growing organization. A lot of focus by CEO on communication and employee engagement. Great hire for CEO.

    Cons

A lot of changes mean a lot of change...but for the better.

    Advice to Management

Continue to focus on the employees.

    Pros

New CEO is a breath of fresh air! Greatly improved communications and employee involvement. Good progress on improving employee programs and job satisfaction as well as on turnover.

    Cons

While progress has been made, staffing levels sometimes cause a lot of O.T.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the changes!

    Pros

Good benefits , fair wages better than some of the others

    Cons

Poorly Managed , Obsessed with Cell Track and Kronos . Can't take a bathroom break without being harassed by email while working the field . Where were you for 20 minutes ? They want to control you . Run ! They over work you also .

    Pros

It’s all about our mission to provide the right type of post-acute care in the right setting. Much of our care is done in the patient’s home. Even in IT we feel connected to this mission because our leadership keeps us in the loop and we know the company’s goals. Another pro - several people in IT have been promoted from within.

    Cons

Inconsistent administration of HR policies. Benefit companies are awful. Not all of us can work at home. Hopeful the new CEO will make changes - we already met him!

    Advice to Management

Keep our team together. Hold other departments accountable as you do IT.

I worked at Chapters Health System full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great people with caring, compassionate clinical staff. Great mission that supports the community and the patients and families they serve during the most trying times of their lives. Support extends after patient support ends with bereavement services for family, including annual children's bereavement camps for children losing loved ones.

    Cons

Upper management out of touch with patient facing staff challenges and many decisions for operational change made without considering these. Overall goals and expectations not communicated or cascaded efficiently from top down to drive the company toward common goals and successes.

    Advice to Management

Empower your employees more when possible. Foster an environment of trust among your leadership and allow them to foster this trust with their employees. Allow a 2-way exchange of information between your front line and management to create a better synergy in your operations.

    Pros

The staff is great. They are what makes the company great.

    Cons

You are just a number. No matter how much dedication you give the company. The look at your age is a big factor there. High turn over rate and the pay is a joke when you see what upper management is making......

Caring People, Great Organization and I worked with the best people. Many opportunities to learn more about the business and healthcare in general.

    Cons

Large organization. If you're used to small to medium, then it may take some adjustment.

    Pros

Solid company with good benefits and good salary.

    Cons

Usual difficulties with management who doesn't understand how their decisions impact the staff and staff morale.

    Advice to Management

Walk a day in your employees' shoes. See if you're able to do what you ask of them and have patient satisfaction.

I worked at Chapters Health System full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Working for the hospice mission, helping patients and families, good field staff but poor managers and especially poor Senior Staff.

    Cons

Too many to name- the senior management/corporate is out of touch. I worked for the organization for 10 years and rarely did I see Leadership from corporate on site or give a much needed morale boost to the employees who make a meager salary.

    Advice to Management

Take time to learn from the staff who are actually doing the direct work with patients and families.
