A Terrible, Greedy company filled with Sweet, Vulnerable People - Personal Support Work Psw Chartwell Retirement Residences Employee Review

They barely pay the staff a living wage. When I was there (2016-2021), I started at 16$/hr and ended up working up to 18$, which was the highest you could go at that time. You would be harrassed for calling in sick when you needed to. The residents are not taken care of. The higher-ups don't provide the budget needed to give them the life they deserve/ pay for themselves. The day I left, they removed the residents customary toilet paper. We are supposed to do a 20-min clean a week, which is barely enough time, and we don't even get time to do that half the time. Most staff are running around 24-7 to help residents who need it.
