      Pros

      Checkr offered a great company culture. We had the option to go into the office or not. Thursdays were "Office Thursdays" where we would have time to eat, drink, play games etc after 5pm

      Cons

      There was a layoff of over 32% of the employees in April 2024. The company was 10 years old and stability was a concern.

      Great insurance. Learning Stipends, etc

      Cons

      -Senior leadership only cares about what is new and shiny. -They treat AI like a religion. Forcing everyone to use AI for everything as though we don't realize that the end goal is to eliminate our roles - All Hands Meetings every month where Senior Leadership pats themselves on the back while ignoring any existing issues. - Support is treated like a necessary evil instead of a fundamental part of doing business. Would prefer to ship the roles overseas or replace with AI - Extremely high attrition for Senior Leadership.
