Pros

For me i am in a 4 year production + maintenance project. People in other projects' experience might vary. No workload as such and enough opportunities to learn alongside senior members. I had earlier worked in Azure and ASP but have now delved into GCP and solution architecture roles as well. You get variable pay anywhere between 5-10 percent of your salary. Quarterly team lunches. Health insurance and welfare policies. In office for 2 days a week or 8 days a month which ever suits your game.

Cons

Average salary hike looms around 4-8 percent. Try to bargain out of variable pay it necessary. I have noticed colleagues in other projects complain about incompetent and underqualified employees. Since 2024 people have been complaining about micro management a lot.
