Clayco lacks structure and processes, but I usually like that because there's plenty of opportunity to shine by making process improvements as the company grows and gets more chaotic. Unfortunately for me I'm in IT so I'm here to be a "yes person" and my opinion doesn't matter. The CIO makes it clear that we're here to follow orders, punch a clock, keep quiet and don't make her look bad if you want to keep your job. She's very polite in front of who she calls VIPs which is basically anyone not in IT but is 2 faced and cold and cruel to us in private. I liked her at first until I realized she just manipulates people and then discards them when she gets what she wants. It's so depressing and emotionally damaging. If you're not already one of her cronies you won't advance and your job isn't safe but her job is safe forever because she has political connections. Morale is lower than ever.
