Pros
Depending on the plant, at least at the Cleveland Hot Strip Mill, it is a great environment with a lot of very knowledgeable people and great understanding of both people and what it takes to run such a large company on the ground floor.
Cons
Depending on where you are placed or what you are doing it can be dangerous/ dirty. Incredibly dirty and greasy in some areas. They do compensate with a great pay rate.
