Pros
It was an okay place to learn. I stayed longer than I should have. Fortunately, I already had a lot of applications out before the layoff announcement.
Cons
Compensation and work life in general was an ever increasing spiral over the 12 years I was they. They cut every benefit they could; Healthcare, vacation, comp time, 401k matches, bonuses, scrap tickets. The site I was at was 20-30% under paid compared to positions at other sites. Now that I work some where else, I ask my self why in the hell did I stay so long.
