*Not so great pay *Lot's of rude customers *Closing takes a long time *Inappropriate people tend to be promoted *FRANCHISE - Because these are owned by franchisees there's a really good chance that the person you are working for has no idea what they are doing. My particular boss was rude, incompetent, had a tendency to throw temper tantrums (including throwing stuff around the store and swearing), indecisive, had no memory (he'd tell you to do something then forget or think he told you to do something when he never did), and so many other things. I imagine that if the franchisee you work for knows what they are doing or at least has the ability to keep calm and rational on a regular basis, you might be better off. But, frankly, you're better off looking for a job that is run by corporate.
