Pros

The interview process was efficient and amicable. I was hired as a part time photographer for the state of Texas. The compensation, which includes salary plus a partial mileage allowance is fair for the work I am expected to do. Although I work in the field on my own I have a great support team to allow me to be successful in my job! My direct supervisor is always available be phone to provide guidance when needed. The inside support team is incredible! I can always count on them to provide me with the support I need to be a success in my job! All travel arrangements are made by the inside team, and hotel charges are billed directly to the company, saving me having to pay out of pocket and then submit costs on an expense account. Salary and expense accounts are promptly payed every 2 weeks. Best of all the company strives to work around my schedule. There is never any hassle if I am not available for certain days or works. They schedule my assignments around my schedule. Work assignments are scheduled far enough in advance so that I can plan my other activities. Finally, the job is just plain fun! I get to travel around Texas providing a service for businesses, meeting great people along the way. I highly recommend working for AMP if you are looking for a photography job that allows you to practice you trade while making a decent salary! Pros Salary and expense accounts paid promptly every 2 weeks, Dedicated support team to assist you in being successful in your daily activities.

Cons

Pros

I've been working at AMP for over a year and a half now and haven't looked back. I started remotely, and then moved to Chicago, and now work hybrid in our Schaumburg location! When starting at AMP, I was fresh out of college, and wanting to get a ton of hands on experience. I started with our business development team selling virtual tours, and it taught me to be gritty, get some tough skin, hear my first no's from business owners, and really decide how I want to show up for myself for work each day. This process was hard, undoubtedly, but this is sales, and what matters is the team you have behind you and the ability to buckle in when life gets tough. Between those two traits gained, the rest is icing on the cake. Now I am a Senior Account Manager, with a full book of business, working with owners to help them grow their business. It is beyond fulfilling, and I am so proud of the professional I have grown into be by choosing to work at AMP.

Cons

On the topic of sales, you are never guaranteed success, and what matters is the ability to reflect, look for opportunities to grow, and rely on your teammates. The only con is the inconsistencies of sales, which is nothing any one company can control, but you have to choose not to spiral in your own brain, and ask for help, choose to grow and find solutions for yourself.
