Pros

- Learned so much in this role that will help me excel in my future career path - Helpful co-workers that are willing to go above and beyond to help when you are in need - Teams unity is something that is stressed which is great - Many different resources to learn as you go - Advanced tech tools that make learning very interesting - Came into this role knowing nothing about Real Estate now have a good deal of knowledge of it - Pay, health benefits, pto was solid - CEO is very intelligent, charismatic and really puts in heart & soul into his company

Cons

- Communication from department leadership is not always clear and/or reciprocated - Training is all done through google meet and reading presentation decks - You have to search though the company file drive to find answers to your questions because if you ask a question that may have a resource doc it will be held against you - Agents are NEVER held accountable when they are unprofessional - Agents' expectations are not set by leadership and if they are set they are unrealistic - Expected to come into office 5 days a week even though no agents ever come into the office. - Anytime any sort of issue happens too many people get involved and it would becomes almost more difficult to complete a project - Raises are hard to come by - Promotions take years to achieve - There is no HR department, its called People and Culture and theres no one to go to if you want to speak to someone directly, it's all done through email.

Pros

People are smart. Very much a “move fast and break things” culture which can be refreshing compared to bureaucracy-heavy corporate life. I don’t agree with their values (if they have any) but what they’re doing is unquestionably working - business outlook is strong.

Cons

Leadership will tell you there’s no ego or self-interest involved in their strategy - that is untrue. It’s an extremely heliocentric culture around the CEO. A lot of the work is based around what people they're guessing he’ll like, but there’s no alignment at the outset and something you worked on for weeks/months will be trashed after one look from him. Their mission is ostensibly about empowering agents but they are solving a problem that pretty much no one was complaining about before they started, and which just so happens to work highly in their favor in terms of market share. It’s just business but very disingenuous- don’t believe the hype that it’s altruistic somehow. Also the CEO loves to share his sob story about his single mother upbringing, but simultaneously enacts some of the most anti-parent policies you could think of.
