Pros

Good work in one team headed by the director of engineering himself. Some of the best intelligent guys whom you can really approach directly.

Cons

NO work culture at all. US office has all the power, IN office can only ask for work which they don't seem to get. Many people resigned lately because of no work. HR is a sucker! He'll tell you we do appriasels twice a year but ask anyone from SZ-IN, they are always 3+ months behind the usual schedule i.e. appraisel which should have happened in march end, will happen in june end. Take it! If you indeed get some work, you'll be expected to complete it that day itself. No time frame given at all. NO quality work. Usual bugfixes, very small enhancements, CSS changes here and there. Even if something new comes up, there are favourites standing in line, forget about your chance. NO team parties at all. Google the wikipedia about history of SZ overall and specifically the money section. You'll see where this company is headed.

Pros

Work hard, play hard mentality. Great culture and a lot of fun events that made my internship memorable.

Cons

Can be a bit empty in office sometimes as most work remotely.

Pros

Endless opportunities for the self-driven and ambitious. I was lucky enough to work under a single manager, David Weinrot, who entrusted me throughout my tenure to drive countless initiatives. He represents, for me, my time with the company. I still carry with me today much of what I learned wearing the many hats he provided access to across the company. Though demanding, he was a great partner in brainstorming new ideas, driving innovation and providing support when needed. This training provided me with the launchpad I needed to, after 5 years, move onto managing an organization with a budget of $120MM that leveraged all of the skills I learned under his direction.

Cons

The company as a whole, while I was there, had a lot going on. I am sure many things have changed since then, though I suspect success will hinge on comfort with agility and change, as with any modern company.
